The Signal.X / University of Cincinnati Co-op Program: The Co-op Perspective, Part 7
I started working for Signal.X in January 2018 for my first co-op rotation without any real world experience. Since starting, I have had multiple projects that allowed me to apply the knowledge I have gained in class as well as learn and apply even more skills that I have acquired at Signal.X. Specifically, I have had the opportunities to learn and use LabVIEW, work with hardware from encoders to a variety of National Instruments devices, gain a better understanding of signals and systems, and become familiar enough with HTML/PHP/Javascript to work on websites.
Outside of work, the condo provided for co-ops is not only larger than the dorms at UC but it is located in a nice area as well as being close to the office.
Signal.X has provided me with many more opportunities than I had expected as a first term co-op and I look forward to coming back and working on even more challenging projects.
