ELECTRONIC BUILD COORDINATOR

Job Description
An electronic build coordinator will be involved in the following daily activities: participating in and leading electronic panel builds, panel design engineering, electronic prove-out and machine commissioning exercises. The majority of all developments will involve rotating elements in the form of either the device-under-test or native machine apparatus. Interfacing to, programming and tuning motor and drive assemblies are key components of the job description. Other installations range from in-vehicle data collection systems, manufacturing quality systems and advanced laboratory control tasks.

Requirements

  • BSEET, BSMET or equivalent work experience
  • Experience with industrial electronics and its protocols/controllers (PLCs, etc.)
  • Experience with electronic instrumentation
  • Experience with motors, drives and tuning control loops
  • Demonstrated proficiency with AutoCAD and ability to read prints
  • Familiarity with vehicle powertrain systems
  • Familiarity with PLC programming
  • Fluent in English language
  • Candidates must be either a U.S. citizen or already legally working in the U.S.

SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER

Job Description
A software development engineer will be involved in the following daily activities: planning and documenting software strategies, LabVIEW/graphical programming, technical support and system-level troubleshooting. The majority of all development will involve the continued enhancement of our sound and vibration product strategies and machine control applications. Other installations range from in-vehicle data collection tools, database architectures, manufacturing quality systems and advanced laboratory control tasks.

Requirements

  • BSEE, MSEE, BSME, MSME, BSCmpE, MSCmpE or an advanced degree in Physics
  • Experience with advanced levels of LabVIEW programming, certification a plus
  • Demonstrated signal processing and control systems experience
  • Familiarity with database systems and statistical process control
  • Familiarity with vehicle powertrain/communications systems
  • Fluent in English language
  • Candidates must be either a U.S. citizen or already legally working in the U.S.
